KIDS CLUB Sessions - School TERM

Every Saturday Morning Session 1, 8:00am - 9:30am and Session 2, 9:30am - 11:00am.

Kids club sessions run on Saturday mornings and extra days during school holidays. These classes are specifically designed to be an easy learning environment for younger kids. These sessions are ideal for 7-12 year olds to learn the basics of kneeboarding and wakeboarding. Experienced operators and coaches are on hand, the cable runs slower and buggy pick ups from the far corners make it much more likely for our younger riders to achieve. 

Cost is $39 per session though multiple passes purchased at once will reduce the price. When purchasing Buy 4 Get 1 Free ($32 per session) or 10 session pass ($29 each). Bookings are essential due to limited spaces!

Kids club is also on during the Queensland School Holidays specifically designed to be in a fun, safe and supported environment. The sessions run from 8:30am to 10:00am on Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday mornings. With a target age group of 7 to 12 year olds, our professional coaches can easily ensure that all kids have a fun time while being introduced to the Wake Park in the most friendly way.

A buggy is also driven around the lake to pick up the kids and save them from having to carry their boards back. The cable runs at a slower speed than normal which makes it even easier for the children. The cost is $39 per session though multiple passes purchased at once will reduce the price. April 2025: 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16. (not 18, 19 & 21st Easter Public Holidays)

June / July 2025: June 30, July 2, 4, (Not Saturday 5th July due to an event), 7, 9, 11 & 12.

advanced training program - School Term 

Monday, Tuesday, & Friday afternoons 3:30 - 5:30pm & Saturdays 11am - 1pm during school terms. ​

Our Advanced Training Program is an intimate group training session run with an experienced coach on hand at all times. These training sessions are progression sessions focusing on skills required to excel in the sport. These sessions are designed for children who have "graduated from Kids Club" or have completed the basic introductions to wakeboarding and want to take it to the next level. The speed of the cable runs as per the speeds of our day to day running. Children must be competent wakeboarders and confident to be out on the water and make it back to the start dock on their own. Coaches may get out on the cable as a double hookup to get closer to the wakeboarders for some on water tips and tricks. Coaches focus on the level each child is currently at and work on skills to better their specific riding level. Progression is guaranteed! Bookings are essential - see our front desk.

 

Wake SQUAD sessions - School Holidays

Wakeboarding & Kneeboarding progression sessions plus off water activities. Wake Squad days are jam packed full of fun for the SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. Programs are running Tuesdays and Thursdays for the QLD School Holidays.

Sept 2024: 17,19, 24, 26.

Dec 2024: 17,19, 24, 31.

Jan 2025: 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23.

April 2025: 8, 10, 15, 17.

June / July 2025: July 1, 3, 8, 10.

Cost for 1 Day $99, 3 Days $269, 5 Days $379.

Inclusions are -

Ladies ONLY Sessions 

(Sundays WEEKLY - 8:30AM - 10:00AM)

Learn how to kneeboard and wakeboard with this specialised session for the ladies only. Coached by our experienced female coaches who will show you how its done in a fun laid back environment...just for the ladies! Bring your friends and get out on the water for the first time, or if you're want to progress those already awesome skills of yours, we'll show you how!

Cost is $39 per session. Multiple passes purchased at once will reduce the price. When purchasing Buy 4 Get 1 Free ($32 per session) or 10 session pass ($29 each).

Includes standard safety equipment, boards and coaching. Pro boards are also inclusive when ready to transition.

Bookings are not required!

backpackers Special

2 hours for $39!! Free Transport for groups of 10! 

Join our 2 hour backpacker special available every day between 10am and 6pm. Includes 2 hours of non stop fun on the water learning knee boarding and wakeboarding! All beginner equipment is provided, ranging from kneeboards to wakeboards as well as life jacket and helmet.

• Free transfers from hostel/hotel for groups of 10 (call us to arrange your transfer ph: 4038 1304) *Bookings are essential if you require transport.

• Discounted beers and spirits! | Bar & café is open daily!!

All you need to bring is your swimwear and a towel!

Every group booking is different and catered to your request. Please email us info@cairnswakepark.com.au for your personalised plan and quote.

Group bookings:

Minimum of 10 participants for a 2 hour pass (best value) is required for free transfers! Once booked online we'll contact you for pick up location, or you can contact us to arrange the booking on 07 4038 1304. Extra charges apply for transfers outside of the city, eg. South of Cairns and North to Port Douglas. Pick up time is 10am and return transfer to same location is 2pm (this can vary depending on your booking time preference). Spectators are welcome - entry to the park is free of charge though transfer costs may apply. Contact the park on this occasion.

This time of year we are locking in groups, party's, bucks/hens, sporting break up events and end of year celebrations every day. If your group is considering the Wake and Aqua Park we would recommend to decide on a date as soon as possible, and then then the final details can be sorted along the way.

 

For larger groups we can allocate areas for you on our covered deck, terrace, down by the waters edge or there are also shade sails over at the Aqua Park which we can reserve for when your guests are over there.

 

Activity options (for example, there are other options)

Unlimited access to Wake Park and Aqua Park for 1 – 2 hours $50 per adult, 2 – 4 hours $60 per adult, 4 – 6 hours $70 per adult - large group discounts apply. You just pay for the people who are participating in the activities and spectators entry is free of charge.

Venue hire from 6pm - 9pm + $299 (this is exclusive, as the general public finish at 6pm)

Venue hire until  9pm - 11pm + $250

Exclusive use to the Aqua Park is $500 for 1 hour and $700 for 2 hours for up to 50 guests out on the water. We can certainly suit larger groups of any size -  eg.150 pax +. We rotate groups through activities. Please contact us for the exclusive plans.

Alcoholic and non alcohol drink packages can be arranged, no BYO due to our liquor license.

​

We can do your catering, a popular example for a group size are our beef or chicken burgers or the steak sandwich, served with chips. Easy hotdog/nuggets and chips for children. We also do platters for nibbles, let us know if you’d like us to send some options to you.

​

You can BYO food and use our BBQ facilities.
